The Loft Artists Association in Stamford, CT invites children ages 7 to 14 to spread their creative wings this summer at our series of creative art workshops. The sixth annual Summer Art Saturday Workshop Program runs Saturdays 10 AM – 12PM from June 22 to August 10 and will feature explorations in FIMO clay, robot recyclables, poured and dripped painting, collage, watercolor, pressed flowers,
“It’s always great to host these workshops in the studios and galleries where our artists create their own work.” says Executive Director, Mark Macrides. “Children can experience a working artist’s environment firsthand and learn from professional and practicing artists. We are grateful for the generous donations from supportive community members that make this rich array of workshops possible.” This year we are happy to offer 10 workshops over the course of 7 summer Saturdays.
Registration is required and will be available Saturday, June 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Sunday, June 2 from 1 – 4 PM at 575 Pacific Street in Stamford. A 5$ non- refundable registration fee will be charged. Registration is limited to 2 workshops per child. For directions and more information visit loftartists.org.
