Regular gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 4:30pm at 575 Pacific Street.
The Loft Artists Association is hosting a unique holiday event titled — “A Holiday Pop Up Art Show and Sale” — in the Phillips Gallery at 575 Pacific Street, Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16 from 1 – 4:30 PM with a special Holiday Reception on Friday, December 14 from 6-8 PM.
“This pop up exhibit will highlight small artwork and crafts perfect for holiday gift giving,” LAA Director, Mark Macrides stated. Loft Artist members were invited to bring together small drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, collages and other mixed media pieces, as well as a variety of handcrafted items such as cards, ceramics, jewelry and ornaments to create a gallery filled with exciting and diverse artwork and crafts. Work will be plentiful to encourage a wide variety of choices; the perfect gifts to bring joy to friends and family over the holiday season. Plan to stop by and select that special and unique gift! The Loft Artists Association currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing artists with a supportive environment and opportunities to exhibit their work in professional galleries.
The LAA reaches out to the community at large with education and artistic expression, as well as collaborative projects. Since 1978, their grassroots events have attracted thousands of visitors throughout the tristate area and have been recognized by city and state funding agencies, as well as corporate and private sponsors. The LAA’s educational mission includes workshops and classes, artistic demonstrations and many opportunities for the community to see the creative process first hand.
