Erica Stoller

Erica Stoller makes colorful sculpture out of unexpected materials, some rescued and reused, some intended for other purposes. The pieces may be made of paper, cardboard, plastic, rubber, metal and more. In each case, the ingredients themselves become the subject matter of the work. The configurations are often light, even buoyant, and may be installed inside or out: suspended from the wall, lurking in corners, attached to trees or fences. And the shadows, too are part of the story.
