Let’s Get Your Art On…

The LAA offers classes and workshops for children, adults and families. Our community drawing workshops provide opportunities for people to engage in a dynamic variety of drawing activities aimed at offering informal instruction by our member artists in a collaborative setting. Workshops and classes for children offer formal instruction in a more traditional classroom environment focusing on specific topics. Evening classes for adults provide opportunities to reconnect with the arts in beginner as well as advanced settings.

Outreach

The LAA is committed to providing art education to the community at large. Our educational programming, partially funded by the City of Stamford, The Connecticut Office of the Arts and The National Foundation of the Arts, enables us to offer in house classes and workshops as well as “push in” workshops and events at local community and senior centers.

Workshops

Each summer, the LAA hosts over 150 children as part of our Summer Art Saturday Workshops. Children engage with our artists in dynamic and creative classroom settings focused on a variety of artistic mediums.
