Partnerships & Community
The LAA partners with other non-profits and community organizations to enhance our efforts and create new and exciting ways to raise awareness of the power of art experiences in the community. These partnerships often provide support through exposure to art and educational opportunities. Some of our partnerships have included; The Ballet School of Stamford, Laurel House, The Bartlett Arboretum, Domus Kids and the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.

why partner?

Recent partnerships with The Ballet School of Stamford have enriched our drawing workshop. Ballet School students in costume have posed for sessions in our galleries providing the public with opportunities to draw from life and experience what it might have been like to be Edgar Degas drawing in the ballet schools of Paris. These partnerships foster collaboration and creative growth and enhance the type of events and activities we can offer to the community.
