Summer Abstracts
The Loft Artists Association is pleased to announce our annual spring juried exhibition titled, Summer Abstracts, featuring regional artists of all mediums. The exhibit will run from June1 through June30, 2024, with an Opening Reception on Saturday, June 1, from 4 - 6 PM.
Summer Abstracts is an interpretational theme inviting artists to think about summer in an abstract context focusing on color, shape, design, texture, and movement within the context of what it means to consider the approaching summer. What are those feelings and senses that are evoked with the approach of summer? What are we, as artists, anticipating. How do we express that? This exhibit will surely excite and inspire the viewer to think about the season of summer in a variety of new ways and with an eagerness to explore new options.
